the next firing.
we do not restock. every piece is one of one, so instead of a shelf that refills, the kiln opens a few times a year and a whole firing appears at once. the list sees it first. blink and the good ones are gone.

how a drop works
the kiln fills
over weeks, thrown and glazed pieces gather on the shelves, waiting for a firing worth their while.
the fire runs
thirty hours of wood. ash settles, flame paths bloom, and roughly one piece in three does not survive the heat.
the drop
the survivors are photographed and released at once, on a set evening. the list sees them first; when a piece is gone, it is gone.
The current home collection is the first firing. Want to understand what thirty hours of wood actually does? Firing, cones, and what 1280 degrees means is the honest account.
